The House system is designed to foster in children the spirit of friendly competition, to awaken the need to strive constantly for improving oneself and also to learn to cooperate and excel through collective effort.

The House system enables the creation of opportunities to identify and nurture talent in various fields in every child. Leadership qualities in children are best developed by assigning them roles in keeping with their personality and temperament and the house activities play a crucial role in allowing the hidden skills and talents in children to emerge and become part of their nature. Capable and confident individuals are made when challenges and opportunities are put in their way.

KSVK consists of four house groups named on the Four prominent dynasties of India., where each group has a dedicated leader. The flag group which signifies the importance of our nation. The houses are as follows.

Each group takes their charge on Monthly basis. House meetings are held during the change of the charge. Each House group has teacher in-charge to guide the house affairs with its team members.

All the activities taken up by the houses are assessed and Rolling Trophy is presented to the Best Achiever House.
